Following the tremendous success of Bonanza Days 2026, organizers are proud to announce the return of the celebrated Western heritage event to historic Virginia City on Saturday and Sunday, May 1–2, 2027. Building on the excitement, large crowds, and enthusiastic response from fans, Bonanza Days 2027 will feature returning favorites along with several new attractions and expanded activities throughout the weekend.
Created to honor the enduring legacy and cultural impact of the classic television series Bonanza, the event once again brings together residents, visitors, historians, collectors, and longtime fans to celebrate the spirit of the American West in the very town that inspired the legendary series. From historic presentations and live entertainment to Old West reenactments, family activities, and special themed events, Bonanza Days has quickly become one of the premier annual celebrations and must-see events in Virginia City.
With exciting new additions already being planned for 2027, attendees can look forward to an even bigger and more memorable weekend filled with nostalgia, Western pageantry, history, and community spirit in one of Nevada’s most storied mining towns.
